Public Relations Client Portfolio
About
The local organization I partnered with for a semester-long public relations project was Nuçi’s Space, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit resource center dedicated to suicide prevention within the music community. Nuçi’s Space supports musicians through a wide range of services, including rehearsal rooms, a recording studio, equipment rentals and gear sales, as well as access to counseling, psychiatry, medical care, support groups, and free suicide prevention training. The organization is uniquely community-driven, empowering, and multifaceted in both its mission and impact. Through extensive research, on-site visits, employee meetings, and a guided tour of the facilities, I developed a comprehensive, student-based public relations client portfolio. While all materials are hypothetical, they were created to mirror professional industry standards. A sample press release is included below, and the full portfolio can be viewed by clicking the link provided.

Nuçi’s Space Launches Artist Wellness Program with Futurebirds
ATHENS, Ga, May 7, 2025 – Nuçi’s Space will provide $4,000 worth of equipment and services to the Futurebirds, an indie rock band that formed in Athens, Georgia, in 2008. The band performs in Athens on Friday, May 16, at 40 Watt Club. This event launches a wellness program that increases outreach and directly benefits suicide prevention. 10% of the concert proceeds will go directly toward Nuçi’s Space and their mission.
Participating bands and artists will receive a guided tour of the facilities while in town for performances. The guided tour includes a mental and physical health check-up for each band member.
This program expands Nuçi’s Space’s services to assist artists and bands who come through Athens for concerts and live performances. They plan to continue their efforts with new performers monthly. They will adjust accommodations according to each musicians’ needs.
“We know that life as a musician can take a toll on mental and physical health,” said CEO Bob Sleppy. “Our goal is to create a safe space for artists in Athens. With this program, we hope to ensure their well-being is cared for while advancing our vision of ending the suicide epidemic.”
There are dozens of Athens clubs that host a wide range of musicians and multiple concert venues with live performances weekly. Nuçi’s Space is targeting local and non-local musicians to accommodate their professional and wellness needs. Bands who participate in this program agree to contribute 10% of their concert proceeds to Nuçi’s Space.
